Opening Note from our Chair

Dear Attendees and Speakers,

On behalf of 2023 OC Biostatistics Symposium Committee, I would like to welcome you to this year’s Symposium on 29-30 September.  The Symposium is a 2-day event to be held at Dream BIG Conference Center at Edwards Lifesciences. We have a great program with the theme, “Innovative Designs in Expediting Drug and Device Development” that focuses on clinical, statistical and data science aspects of the drug and device development.  The event includes more than 40 speakers covering 2 keynote sessions (Days 1 and 2), a panel discussion on Day 2 and several parallel tracks of invited sessions in clinical/statistics, data science and academic research.  In addition, we have about 14 posters to be presented on Day 2.  Please see attached digital version of the Scientific Program.

If you have registered to the event, you should have received a confirmation email with the details and a QR code.  We have sent sent driving, parking, and security instructions to enter Edwards campus on both days of the event.  Please see below for parking instructions. Those who are attending in-person, breakfast, lunch, snacks will be provided on both days.  We also welcome you to an evening social reception on Day 1 (5-7 PM).  Those attending virtually should have received meeting login information.

Once again, we are excited to host this great event and look forward to your participation. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Regards

Gajanan Bhat
